There is no Proof that this is the Father of the Matthias States that settled in Lockport, Westmorland Co. PA. BAS 3/9/02

He was married to Elizabeth Gelderner on 28 AUG 1744 in Fairfield Co., Greenwich CT. Elizabeth Gelderner was born in Germany. She died in CT. Adam States (Staats) and Elizabeth Gelderner had the following children:
